Hope for Today – Day Nine

Day Nine – Romans 12:12

Start your day by making the sign of the cross as you say: “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
[You have hope because you are a child of God]

HOPE for Today

Romans 12:12
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

With these words, Paul is describing the Christian life of faith. He is writing to us individually, but also together as His people. The hope that we have in Jesus brings us joy. It helps us to be patient when trials and afflictions come our way. It spurs us on to be a praying people who pray with confident hope no matter what life throws at us. On the days we struggle, our family of faith can encourage us.

What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His hope with others?

Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace. Go with hope. The Lord is with you!
