Let not your hearts be troubled, Neither let them be afraid

John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

Jesus Himself offers us His peace, which is very different from the kind of peace offered by the world (freedom from conflict). His peace is able to face our anxieties and fears. It comes from Him, not from us. It transforms us from the inside out.

What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His peace with others?

Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace, the Lord is with you!
