HOPE for Today

1 Peter 1:3, 13, 21
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead…Therefore prepare your minds for action, be self-controlled, set your hope fully on the grace to be given to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to you…and your faith and hope are in God.”

Peter describes the hope that we have as a living hope. It is alive and inspires life wherever it is present. This hope comes from the living God who inspires life in us and among us. This hope is also contagious.

What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His hope with others?

Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace. Go with hope. The Lord is with you!
