Psalm 29:11

“May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!”

Strength (to face life) and peace are gifts from God Himself to His children. Peace is not something that we can will into being. It doesn’t come from us at all. It comes from being at peace with God and with ourselves, knowing that our lives are in His hands. 

What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His peace with others?

Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace, the Lord is with you!
