Hope for Today – Day Six
Day Six – Romans 5: 3-5
Start your day by making the sign of the cross as you say: “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”
[You have hope because you are a child of God]
HOPE for Today
Rom 5:3-5
“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.”
The hope that God gives us by His Spirit allows us even to rejoice in our sufferings. Such rejoicing produces perseverance and character in us and brings hope full circle. This hope is a supernatural response that is a witness to the watching world of what God can do in His people. They will want what we have!
What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His hope with others?
Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace. Go with hope. The Lord is with you!
