HOPE for Today

Job 13:15
“Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him; I will surely defend my ways to His face.”

When Job was being tested by the devil and lost nearly everything, his friends ask him what he had done to deserve this. They counselled him to curse God and die. But Job chose to trust God and His promises to him. He knew beyond a shadow of doubt that he had hope in God who loved him. He modelled for us what it means to live by faith and not by sight.

What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His hope with others?

Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace. Go with hope. The Lord is with you!
