Peace Through Jesus
Start your day by making the sign of the cross as you say: “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.” [You can have peace because you are a child of God]
Today’s piece of the puzzle… your daily promise of PEACE
Romans 5: 1-5
“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
Because we have God’s peace, we experience peace and joy – even in the face of suffering. God’s peace changes our perspective on everything! We can rest in the assurance that God is with us and that He works all things for a pattern of good in our lives. (Rom 8:28)
What opportunities will the Lord give you today to share His peace with others?
Now with your mind refreshed and renewed and with a song in your heart, go forth to serve the Lord with gladness in the vocations He has given you. Go in peace, the Lord is with you!
