Chrismons – Explained!

Chrismons have been used to honor Christ at Our Savior’s annual Christmas celebration and to serve as teaching symbols for over twenty years. We hope that by using these early symbols of our faith to decorate our tree, we will help strengthen the real meaning and reason that we celebrate Christmas.

The video below explains what a Chrismon is, and then illustrates the Chrismon that is given to each grade level of our Sunday School program, along with an explanation of the meaning of that Chrismon.
